A watchman was killed and a 12-year-old male student was injured by two unidentified suspects who shot them in Sitio Buyoron, Brgy. Buenavista, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental, on Friday, June 7.
Rogelio Ariola, 32, died while his 12-year-old companion was injured, the police reported on Sunday.
The victims were onboard a bulldozer when the shooting occurred.
The 12-year-old child sustained a gunshot wound on his right arm and managed to jump off the bulldozer and escape.
Ariola sustained multiple gunshot wounds on different parts of his body.
The victims were brought to the Gov. Valeriano Gatuslao Memorial District Hospital but Ariola was declared dead on arrival.*
