The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Negros Occidental and the police arrested two persons and seized suspected shabu worth P408,000 in a buy-bust operation in Purok Mahimayaon, Brgy. Tabao Proper, Valladolid, Negros Occidental, on Saturday, June 8.
Arrested were alias “Tong-it” or “Asyon”, 25, a watchlisted personality of Purok Cereza South, Brgy. 3, Bacolod City, and alias “Mark”, 38, a resident of Victorias City, the PDEA reported.
Recovered from them were 60 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated price of P408,000 and other non-drug evidence.
The suspects are now under the custody of PDEA-6 and the seized drugs will be brought to PDEA-6 laboratory for examination.
They are now facing charges for violating Sections 5, and 11 of Art. II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, the PDEA said.*
