
Former Negros Oriental police director new chief PNP
The former director of the Negros Oriental police is now the Philippine National Police (PNP) chief.Lt. Gen. Dionardo Carlos will replace Gen. Guillermo Eleazar, who will formally relinquish the top PNP post on Friday, November 12, ahead of his 56th birthday and compulsory retirement date on November 13 after serving 38 years in the uniformed services.Carlos will formally assume command as the 27th chief PNP on Friday.
