Allies of presidential candidate Ferdinand Marcos Jr. are calling on his supporters to join a Negros Occidental Unity Caravan on Sunday, November 21.The Bongbong Marcos Alliance in Negros, in a post on its Facebook page, said assembly time will be at 6:30 a.m. at the highway in front of the Bago City College in the south, Tangub Manville in Bacolod City and in front of Ayala North District in Talisay City in the north.Participants are being urged to wear red T-shirts, green ribbons and to bring Philippine flags.They are also being urged to observe Inter-Agency Task Force COVID-19 health protocols.*

Negros Occidental set for tourism vaccination at Magikland
The Negros Occidental provincial government is launching a COVID-19 vaccination tourism program to hasten the inoculation of minors and their parents, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said Thursday, Nov 18.The provincial government will put up a vaccination site at Magikland in Silay City that will provide free tickets into the theme park for fully vaccinated minors aged 12 to 17 years old and half price tickets for their fully vaccinated parents, Diaz said.The offer is initially set for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, he said, adding that details are being finalized.They will initially start the vaccination drive for minors and their parents from Silay City who will need to preregister with their local government for the activity at Magikland, Diaz said.After they h...
Man with multiple ‘identities’ nabbed
A 23-year-old man who has allegedly taken multiple identities was arrested by the police at the Relocation Site in Brgy. Tiglawigan, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental, on Tuesday, November 16.Nabbed was Jason Rico Escanuela of the Tiglawigan. Among his many aliases are Jason Escanuela and Aleah Nicole Rico Ecanuela.Armed with an arrest warrant for violation of the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 or Republic Act 10175, policemen swooped into his place to arrest him.He was charged with 14 counts of the cybercrime.His arrest warrant was signed and issued by Silay City Regional Trial Court Executive Judge Dyna Doll Trocio, who recommended P72,000 bail for each case for his temporary liberty.He is now in the custody of the Cadiz police.*
