Former EB Magalona mayor succumbs to COVID-19

Former Negros Occidental board member and EB Magalona mayor David Lacson, who was hit with COVID-19, passed away Friday evening, his cousin former board member Patrick Lacson confirmed.The 46-year-old former mayor passed away at the Riverside Medical Center in Bacolod City.“He was a kind hearted, principled man… He loved his family, the people of EB Magalona and Negros”, his cousin said.Patrick Lacson, on his Facebook page, said “I’m happy that there is nothing but love between us, not even politics was able to destroy.”Former Negros Occidental board member Enrique Miguel Lacson said the former mayor was admitted at the Riverside Medical Center on Wednesday and was suffering from pneumonia.David Lacson is survived by his wife, Risa, and children Moki, Drianna and Jaime....
