PCG photoThree vessels ran aground during Typhoon "Odette" but no oil spills were detected, the Philippine Coast Guard reported Sunday, October 19.The LCT Citic 102 was discovered aground at the stern in the vicinity of the Petron pipeline in Barangay Banago, Bacolod, on Saturday, December 18.An underwater ocular inspection by the firm's diver showed that the vessel is sitting on top of Petron's receiving pipeline, the PCG said.The captain of the vessel was told to loosen anchor to avoid damaging the pipeline.The M/T Mary Queen of Hope was also discovered aground at Camponames Bay in Barangay Maricalum, Sipalay City, Saturday afternoon.The vessel left the BREDCO Port anchorage area in Bacolod City on December 15 for Sipalay City to seek shelter from typhoon "Odette"...
