"Imaginary Disorder" is Jay-R Delleva’s 8th one-man show, accomplished in the middle of the pandemic.His curator Moreen Austria wrote that it is “commonly assumed that one is constantly predisposed by their outside environment when the influences, in reality, come from within. To quieten intrusive thoughts, the mind when foggy and in circles, cross-questions sometimes unwillingly and recedes to a corner of comfort."Imaginary Disorder" is Delleva's solo exhibition where comfort and unrest form an assemblage of his conscious and subconscious experiences and contemplations.Extending feelings of anxiety beyond questions of unfamiliarity, his works merge these into domestic and phobic spaces where limits and boundaries blur.
