Tanod shot to death by tricycle passenger

BCPO photoA barangay tanod was shot to death by a passenger on board his tricycle in front of Royal Am Rei Hotel in Barangay 7, Bacolod City, at about 7:30 a.m. Friday, October 22.Killed was Michael A. Hugo, 42, of Purok Tahong, Brgy. 2, Bacolod City, PCapt. Paul Vincemt Pendon, Police Station 2 chief, said.Investigation showed that the victim was driving his tricycle when his passenger suddenly shot him several times, hitting him in different parts of his body and causing him to fall on the road, Pendon said.After the incident the suspect boarded a motorcycle driven by an unidentified male, waiting in the vicinity and fled in an unknown direction, he added.*
