Red Horse Beer named ‘Most Meaningfully Different Brand’ in 2026 Kantar BrandZ rankings

Red Horse Beer, widely recognized as the world’s leading extra-strong beer brand, has secured a place in the Kantar BrandZ Top 30 Most Valuable Brands in Southeast Asia for 2026.

Ranked 30th overall in the regional standings, Red Horse Beer stands as one of only two Filipino brands included in the prestigious list, a press release said Wednesday, Nov. 4.

In addition to its regional ranking, Red Horse Beer earned the distinction of being named the “Most Meaningfully Different Brand” within the beer category.

The recognition highlights brands that consumers view as distinct from competitors while demonstrating close alignment with target market preferences and everyday needs, the press release said.

According to Kantar BrandZ, the awards reinforce the strength of Red Horse Beer’s brand identity, anchored in its “astig” and “relaksarap” brand equities.

The brand’s market presence is supported by targeted outreach across generations and gender demographics, as well as an established value-for-money proposition tailored to local consumption habits, it added.

Kantar BrandZ evaluates brand value using a consumer-focused methodology that combines financial evaluation with brand contribution. Endorsed by the Marketing Accountability Standards Board (MASB), the framework relies on data compiled from over 4.6 million consumer interviews across 54 global markets.

First established in 2006, Kantar BrandZ’s valuation series evaluates regional and global market performance, producing annual rankings across six continents to benchmark commercial brand development.*
