Negative RT-PCR results required for inbound Bacolod travelers, too

Mayor Evelio Leonardia has issued an executive order requiring travelers entering Bacolod City from areas under Alert Level 3 or higher to submit negative RT-PCR test results as a deterrent against COVID-19 effective Sunday, January 9.

Leonardia, in Executive Order No, 1, Series of 2022 issued Friday, January 7, said the negative RT-PCR results must be obtained 72 hours prior to and upon arrival in Bacolod City by inbound travelers, regardless of vaccination status.

Incoming passengers must also present an online BacTrac registration, S-PASS, vaccination card and valid ID.

The Department of Health reported 36 new COVID-19 cases in Bacolod City and 39 in Negros Occidental on Friday.*
