The Land Transportation Office – Negros Island Region served a resolution against a modern jeepney operator in Bacolod City on Wednesday morning, April 29, following a viral video showing an alleged traffic violation.
The resolution was served at around 10:20 a.m. along Tomaro Road, Brgy. Pahanocoy.
Authorities said the action stemmed from a circulating video where a modernized jeepney was seen allegedly running a red traffic light.
The Intelligence and Investigation Unit explained the resolution to the operator, who was directed to settle the corresponding fine at the LTO-NIR office.
Acting Regional Director Jeck D. Conlu, reminded drivers and transport operators to strictly observe traffic rules and regulations.*
