Freddie Aguilar top bills concert for Sacred Heart cultural center

Filipino folk musician, singer-songwriter Freddie Aguilar and sons are performing in a benefit concert to raise funds for the renovation of the John Paul II Diocesan Cultural Center at the Sacred Heart Seminary in Bacolod City.

“The Heart of Hearts” pre-Valentine concert that will also feature charity Diva Token Lizares, Atak “Star” Araña , the Sacred Heart seminarians, Zoe Anne Lao and Analyn Gayatin will be held at L’Fisher Hotel in Bacolod City 6 p.m. Saturday, February 11.

The Sacred Heart Seminary-Bacolod has over the years envisioned to preserve its structures and facilities where cultural footprints and memories of the past have been engraved and became part of the moral compass of the institution in forming young men to become priests someday, Fr. Ronaldo Quijano, Sacred Heart Seminary rector and president, said.

One of the urgent projects that the seminary wishes to address is the restoration and renovation of the deteriorating John Paul II Diocesan Cultural Center, which is located inside the seminary, he said.
