A 55-year-old man was found dead with a gunshot wound in Hacienda Sanfiel, Brgy. Mabini, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental, on Thursday morning, March 19.Police said the victim was discovered at around 8:10 a.m. lying outside his residence with a gunshot wound on the head and holding a .45 caliber pistol.Authorities said the victim’s mother found him lifeless and reported the incident to barangay officials.A neighbor also told police they heard a gunshot at around 12:05 a.m. of the same day.The victim was brought to the Cadiz City Health Office where he was declared dead.*
