The Northern Negros Electric Cooperative (NONECO) announced Wednesday, September 21, that its power rates are down P0.2308 per kWh.That means its power rate will be P15.7648 per kWH, it said.The decrease can be attributed mainly to the reduction in generation cost of one of the power generators with a power supply agreement with NONECO, and electricity cost in the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market, its statement said.Only P1.6109 kWh of the power rate goes to NONECO through Distribution, Supply, Metering (DSM) charges intended for the cooperative’s Operation, Construction, and Maintenance services, it said.*
