The City Health Office has identified three Bacolod barangays as dengue hotspots.Mansilingan, Taculing and Brgy 12 were identified as hotspots. Hotspots are areas with increasing number of dengue cases for four consecutive weeks or deaths, the CHO said in a report released Sunday, September 25.The CHO said as of September 10, or morbidity week 36, Bacolod City had 755 dengue cases and 10 deaths. Negros Occidental local government units need to actively monitor the water sources in their localities to prevent cases of gastroenteritis, Dr. Ernell Tumimbang, Provincial Health Officer, said Friday, September 23.Tumimbang, who echoed the call of Gov.
