Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez led the switch on of the Christmas lights at the Bacolod City Government Center (BCGC) grounds on Saturday night, Dec. 7.
The switch on followed the STI West Negros University Christmas Festival of Lights arena dance competition at the BCGC grounds.

The Red Sentinels of the STI WNU College of Information and Technology was declared the champion in the arena competition.
First runner up was the Orange Erudites of the College of Engineering and second runner up was the Green Titans of the College of Arts and Sciences.
The Purple Wizards of the College of Criminal Justice Education was awarded for the Best Float.*
