Bacolod NBI investigates ‘manipulated’ sex video

A Negrense beauty queen sought the help of the National Bureau of Investigation Thursday, December 2, to investigate and halt the circulation of a sex video on the internet, NBI Bacolod chief Renoir Baldovino said.

The complainant went to the NBI office to complain that a sex video was edited or manipulated to make it appear that she was the female featured in it along with two males, he said.

She pointed out that her face was superimposed on the body of the female in the video, he said.

The complainant said the body of the female in the video has a birth mark but she does not have one on her body, he added.

An official complaint was filed before the Bacolod NBI against a still unknown suspect and the beauty queen was asked to submit additional supporting evidence to help them in their investigation, Baldovino said.

Baldovino assured the complainant that the NBI Bacolod will conduct an investigation and seek the help of their cybercrime office in Manila.

The video that appeared to have been posted on a pornography site was passed on to a group chat and from there it began to spread, he said.

The complainant wants the NBI to investigate who are responsible for making and circulating the video and for it to be taken down, Baldovino said.

He called on the public not to spread the video or they could face cyber crime charges.*
