Beauty queens from Bacolod City and Dumaguete City emerged among the Top 4 finalists of the Binibining Pilipinas 2026 pageant after finishing as runners-up during the Grand Coronation Night held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Saturday, July 18.
Julianne Raine Amigo Antonio of Dumaguete City finished as First Runner-up while Tracy Mae Sunio of Bacolod City was named Second Runner-up, after advancing through the competition’s swimsuit and evening gown segments and making it to the Top 12 semifinalists.
The two Negrense bets secured spots in the Final 4 after the semifinalists answered questions from the panel of judges chaired by Sen. Risa Hontiveros.
Asked what future she envisions for herself and how the Binibining Pilipinas title would help her reach that goal, Antonio said the pageant had taught her strength and empowered her to uplift others.
She said she would continue to trust God’s plan, use kindness as her strength and inspire people around her regardless of what the future holds.
Sunio, meanwhile, said she hopes to champion holistic wellness for senior citizens, an advocacy she said became deeply personal after losing her father.
She said she wants to help ensure that elderly Filipinos feel cared for and believes the Binibining Pilipinas platform would help her extend that advocacy to more communities.
A total of 35 candidates competed in this year’s Binibining Pilipinas pageant, where Gwendoline Meliz Frias Soriano of Baguio City won the Binibining Pilipinas International 2026 crown and Sasha-Juli Belle Penuliar Lacuna of Tarlac Province was named Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2026.*
