The Valley of Peace Park of Life along Carlos Hilado Avenue (Circumferential Road) in Brgy. Mandalagan, Bacolod City, is expanding and now has more mausoleum and garden lots up for sale.
Cathrina Yanson-Dumancas, general manager of Valley of Peace Park of Life by Proxima Centauri Realty And Development Corp., announced the expansion at its launch attended by their brokers at Maria Kucina, La Salle Avenue, Bacolod City, Thursday afternoon, July 23.
The mausoleums available when the park first opened were swiftly sold out, and they have had a five-year wait list for more, she said.
She said with their expansion, lots are now available at Azure 1 at 35 square meters for one-story mausoleums with a buildable area of 19 square meters, and Azure 2 for two-story mausoleums at 35 square meters with a buildable area of 31 square meters.
Their grandest offering is located at Nirvana for one-story mausoleums at 60 square meters with a buildable area of 38 square meters, she added.
They had 50 mausoleum lots available, but before the public launch on Thursday, they had a long wait list for five years, so they now only have about 30 lots remaining, she said.
The mausoleums have to be built according to designs provided by the park management.
The Valley of Peace Park of Life was established in May 2024 with a total land area of 34 hectares.
The Valley of Peace Park of Life offers a serene, resort-inspired environment where families can gather to remember, reflect, and celebrate the lives of those they love, she said, with a lifetime memorial care fund to ensure perpetual maintenance.
The park is also well developed with wide roads to ensure ample parking, she added.
Investing in lot spaces ahead of time provides peace of mind, eases the emotional and financial burden on loved ones, and ensures families can make thoughtful decisions before the need arises, it was pointed out.
Ginnette Yanson-Dumancas, VP for Administration and Finance at the GC & C Group of Companies, said a lot at the park sold at P 32,000 per square meter when it opened in 2024 and costs more than P125,000 per square meter in 2026, which shows that buying at Valley of Peace is a good investment, she said.
One can sell a memorial park lot without capital gains tax, she said.
They offer zero interest on the first two years of purchase at Valley of Peace to make lots more affordable, she said.
She said those who have bought lots at Valley of Peace come from Class E to A.
One of the very first persons who bought a lot at the park was a tricycle driver, and the most prominent person buried at the park is her father, bus magnate Ricardo Yanson Sr., Ginnette Yanson-Dumancas said.
Cathrina Yanson-Dumancas said they are very excited for Valley of Peace and Proxima because they have a lot of launches this year.
For this year, they started with the launch of their first dialysis clinic, Envivo, in Bacolod, are constructing the Puregold Himamaylan City building with leasing storefronts, and have a lot of other partnerships with big names, she added.
They also have their One Communities, which is their affordable socialized housing offering in Barangay Cabug, Bacolod, she added. They will also be launching One Communities in Vista Alegre, Bacolod City, and Murcia, she added.*
