An unidentified man was found dead in Purok Reles, Brgy. Salvacion, Murcia, Negros Occidental, on Thursday, Dec. 26.
A man tending to his carabao found the dead man on the ground covered with sugarcane leaves.
The dead person was wearing a white T-shirt, green shorts, and black slippers with spiral tattoos on his right arm and had a large wound on his face, the police said.
The police are conducting an investigation to identify the victim.
The body of the victim was in a state of decomposition and was brought to a funeral parlor in Bacolod City.*
