Police identified the victim only as alias “Roni,” a married resident of the area.
Initial investigation showed that the victim was last seen by a friend at about 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, reportedly intoxicated and walking unsteadily toward his residence.
The following morning, a person working at a nearby farm saw him lying face down and motionless in a creek and sought assistance from Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office personnel.
