Two persons died and was one injured when two motorcycles collided at the Granada-Alangilan Road in Hacienda Carmen, Brgy. Granada, Bacolod City, Sunday, Feb. 9.
“Helbert’, 28, and alias “Jeriel”, 26, drivers of the two motorcycles died. Jeriel’s back rider “Jigger” was injured, the police said.
Lt. Col. Ramel Sarona, Traffic Enforcement Unit head, said that Helbert was headed for Brgy. Alangilan and Jeriel counter flowed in the opposite lane causing the accident.
Due to the impact, the victims sustained serious injuries and were brought to a hospital but Helbert and Jeriel were declared dead on arrival.
The victims were not wearing helmets and were driving fast, the police reported.*
