TUP-V grads first, fifth placers in Chemical Technician Exam

Two graduates of the Technological University of the Philippines – Visayas in Talisay City topped the Chemical Technician Licensure Examination 2022, the Professional Regulation Commission announced Tuesday, October 25.

Christian Rey Salinio Dela Cruz was ranked first with a rating of 94 percent and Razel Chiva Sobrevilla ranked fifth with a rating of 92 percent.

The PRC said TUP-V was also the top performing school in the October Chemical Technician Licensure Examination with a 100 percent passing rate for all of its 65 graduates.

The national passing rate was 85.16 percent.

The PRC said 2,204 out of 2,588 passed the Chemical Technician Licensure Examination given by the Board of Chemistry in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Tacloban and Zamboanga this October.

The Municipality of Moises Padilla, in a Facebook post, said it is proud of Dela Cruz who is from Sitio Cuyaoyao, Barangay Inolingan.*
