A senior citizen died when a truck rammed into his fruit stand on the side of the national highway in Brgy. Tiguib, Ayungon, Negros Oriental, on Tuesday, March 25.
The victim was a 63-year-old man, the police said.
The victim sustained serious injuries and was brought to the Bindoy District Hospital where he was declared dead.
The police were still searching for the driver of the truck who fled after the incident.*
