Toastmasters International leaders visit Bacolod to strengthen presence

Toastmasters International District 75 leaders, including District Director Jot Chiongbian, Program Quality Director Remy Ybay, and Club Growth Director Sucit Hernandez, conducted a two-day visit to Bacolod City on Thursday and Friday, February 20-21.

The visit was part of an ongoing effort to promote the Toastmasters Program and encourage the development of leadership and communication skills in growing communities, a press release from the group said Tuesday, Feb. 25..

The visit kicked off on Day 1 with an engaging talk, “Toastmasters Leadership Stories,” hosted by the Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation. The event showcased inspiring leadership journeys shared by the district leaders, highlighting the transformative impact of Toastmasters in personal and professional development.

On Day 2, Toastmasters International partnered with the Metro Bacolod Chamber of Commerce and Industry for a collaborative session titled “Unlocking Corporate Success with Toastmasters.”

 The session emphasized the critical role of effective communication and leadership skills in driving corporate success and enhancing business growth.

The events were organized by District 75 Club Extension Chair, Mhel Enderes Sillador, as part of his initiative to expand Toastmasters’ reach in underserved and developing areas of the Philippines.

The visit to Bacolod is one of many initiatives by District 75 aimed at fostering leadership growth and empowering individuals through the Toastmasters Program.*PR
