A Taylor Swift-themed concert with impersonator “Taylor Sheesh” drew a crowd of 21,000 to the Bacolod City Government Center grounds Saturday night, October 14, one of the biggest in this year’s MassKara Festival in Bacolod City.

“MasskEras”, a concert and listening party featuring the songs of artist Taylor Swift, was the highlight of the second weekend of the MassKara festivities, drawing young and Generation Z Bacoleños.

The police estimated crowd at about 21,000 as of 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

“We were very overwhelmed but happy with the outcome of about 21,000 Swifties who chose to spend their Saturday night with us,” Paula Lavilla, co-organizer of the event, said in a statement.

The event was organized by youngsters from the Negros Swifties’ Club, who are fans of the artist.

The three-hour event was filled with performances and song covers of local artists and singers highlighted by the performance of Taylor Seesh, a trending impersonator of Swift in the country.

Lavilla said that they wanted to give the local Swifties in Negros an experience close to Swift’s concert with her recent “Eras Tour” happening around the world.

“As Taylor’s song goes, we had the time of our life with you”, she said.*
