A woman who pushes for the rights of underprivileged children is tying her luck at the Miss Bacolod MassKara pageant for a second time.

Yvonne Catamco, 22, a Tourism Management student from the University of St. La Salle-Bacolod joined this year’s edition again.

She was one of the candidates for the MBM last year.

“I think the version of me that I carry is the bolder version of Yvonne,” she said when asked what she can showcase this year. “We can always achieve our ultimate if we have the heart and passion”, she said.

Catamco carries her advocacy for the rights of underprivileged children to the pageant stage.

Asked how she can convince voters to vote wisely in the upcoming elections, she said “I will influence the youth to become mindful and responsible to choose leaders who are not driven by greed but by passion and compassion.”

She is one of the 15 candidates vying for the Miss Bacolod MassKara 2023 crown at the University of Saint La Salle coliseum Monday night, October 16.*
