Dog in MassKara costume top pets parade winner

An imperial tzu dog wearing a festive MassKara costume brought home five awards in the “Bacolod Super Pets Parade”, one of the activities at the Bacolod City Government Center on Sunday, October 15.

“Fog”, an imperial tzu dog owned by Rodelyn Sta. Ana, bested 26 other cats and dogs who participated in the event.

The dog and the owner who wore blue costumes with feather headdresses similar to the MassKara Festival logo caught the attention of the judges and spectators as they paraded at the BCGC stage.

The pair won the Best Pet-Owner Duo Interaction, Most Creative Integration of Theme, Most Creative Runway Outfit (Dog), Best Car Show Outfit and Presentation, People’s Choice Award, and was hailed as the Bacolod Super Pet.

Meanwhile, “Ayiesha” the pug, and her owner Cris John Canoy were hailed first runner-up, and “Cloud” the shitzu, and owner Regine Faith Diaz – second runner-up.

“Cleopatra”, a Persian cat, and her owner Sherlyn Loreno were also awarded as Most Creative Runway Outfit (Cat).

The BCGC festival site will host events like the MassKaReyna, MassKara Electrika Diva, and Closing Concerts featuring Viva Artists.*
