
Guv dismisses engineer, Palic returns to work
Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson has approved the dismissal of an employee of the Negros Occidental Provincial Engineer’s Office (PEO) who was found guilty of administrative offenses of grave misconduct, vicious habits, disgraceful and immoral conduct, and conduct prejudicial to the best interest of the service.Lacson approved the dismissal of Engineer Noel Barredo from the PEO from the service effective immediately, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said Thursday, October 21.The governor’s decision was based on an investigation report submitted by Provincial Legal Officer Alberto Nellas Jr.The investigation report and notice of termination state that Barredo is barred from entering or approaching the vicinity of any of the offices under the provincial government.The notice s...
