
Officials mourn passing of former city councilor
Former Bacolod City councilor Lyndon Caña, 56, passed away at the Bacolod Adventist Medical Center Thursday, November 4.He earlier tested positive for COVID-19.Bacolod Councilor Renecito Novero said he was saddened by the death of Caña “but we have to bow to the will of the Almighty”.“Lyndon was a good instrument of God’s ministry on earth, he was an excellent Bible expositor. He had been a channel of blessings to many as a preacher, lawyer, public servant and person. His departure is a great loss to us,” Novero said.Bacolod Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran said Caña was a man of principle, one the brightest legislators with an independent mind.Senator Joel Villanueva said he joins the Citizen’s Battle Against Corruption (CIBAC) Party List in mourning the demise of Caña....
