A Bacolod City kagawad was shot dead in front of his wife in their home at Lumina Subdivision in Brgy. Vista Alegre on Saturday night, December 11.Killed was Rhoule Jay Martir, 38.Police said the victim and his wife were sitting outside their house when four unidentified men wearing bonnets approached them and shot the kagawad five times.The victim died on the spot.Capt. Elmer Bonilla, Police Station 7 commander, said the suspects were on board a blue vehicle which they parked a block away from the victim’s house.They are still investigating the motive for the killing, and determining the identities of the suspects.*
