The crowd at the Bacolod City Government Center (BCGC) that overflowed on to the roads hit 150,000 Friday night, Oct. 18, PCol. Joeresty Coronica, Bacolod police director, said.
The crowd was there for the Sari-Sari Store MassKaravan and Concert sponsored by Puregold, which featured rappers FlowG and Skusta Clee, and P-Pop group SB19.
Coronica said the event that ended at about 10 p.m. was peaceful but there was heavy traffic.
Bacolod Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez had ordered the full closure of the Circumferential Road between St. Francis Avenue and the Upper East Avenue (Megaworld) from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m on Friday.
The same area will also be closed for the BingoPlus Day Music Fest that will feature Piolo Pascual, Moira Dela Torre, KZ Tandingan, TJ Monterde and the Franco band at the BCGC, on Sunday evening, Oct. 20.*
