Rappers, P-Pop group draw 150,000 crowd at BCGC

The crowd at the Bacolod City Government Center (BCGC) that overflowed on to the roads hit 150,000 Friday night, Oct. 18, PCol. Joeresty Coronica, Bacolod police director, said.

The crowd  was there for the Sari-Sari Store MassKaravan and Concert  sponsored by Puregold, which featured rappers  FlowG and  Skusta Clee, and  P-Pop group SB19.

Coronica said the event  that ended at about 10 p.m. was peaceful but there was heavy  traffic.

Bacolod Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez had ordered the full closure of the Circumferential Road between St. Francis Avenue and the Upper East Avenue (Megaworld) from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m on Friday.

The same area will also be closed for  the  BingoPlus Day Music Fest  that will feature  Piolo Pascual, Moira Dela Torre, KZ Tandingan, TJ Monterde and the Franco band  at the BCGC, on Sunday evening, Oct. 20.*
