Pontevedra’s Franches Anne Laquibla was crowned the first ever Miss Universe Philippines Negros at SMX Convention Center in Bacolod City, Sunday night, Nov. 24.

First runner up was Althea Nicole Gadingan of Talisay, 2nd runner up Patricia Ysabel Galapino of Ilog, 3rd runner Mary Angelique Faye Caballero of Cinco, Silay and 4th runner up Bernie Larit of Bago City.

Louise Lian Enumerable Bobe of Murcia was appointed Miss Universe Philippines Bacolod.

Laquibla , 20, said “joining this pageant as a mother is not just about embracing my journey, it’s about inspiring others to chase their dreams fearlessly, regardless of their roles or life stages. I believe we should celebrate all body types and focus on self-acceptance rather than conforming to unrealistic standards. True beauty is found in embracing who you are.”

She dreams of becoming a successful businesswoman, utilizing her influence to create initiatives that promote body positivity and inclusivity. *
