A “top drug personality” was killed by armed men at Sitio Napungalan 2, Barangay Jonobjonob, Escalante City, Negros Occidental, on Sunday, Dec. 1, the police said Monday.
Killed was Edgar Cara-at, 51, tagged as a “Top 1 City Level Drug Personality”, the police said.
A group of about nine persons entered his house by breaking a window.The victim tried to block the door to prevent the suspects from entering but failed.
Witness in the area said there was an exchange of gun fire.
The suspects immediately fled the scene.
The police are still investigating who killed the victim and what their motive was.*
