Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez said on Thursday, April 13, that the logo of the Bacolod City government used by the previous administration is being changed.
A photo of the old green and yellow Bacolod logo on a city ambulance posted by a netizen went viral when it was noted that Philippines was misspelled. It was instead spelled “Phillipines”.
Executive Assistant Aaron Bais said the ambulance assigned to the Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office was the one spotted with the logo with the misspelled name of the country.
City Administrator Pacifico Maghari III they have started changing the sticker logos on the city government vehicles.
The new logo is now white and blue from green and yellow.*
