The Department of the Interior and Local Government has given the Negros Occidental Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) a 100 percent performance rating for 2021, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said on Thursday, August 18.
The rating was based on a thorough assessment of the documents by the Regional Audit Team, DILG Regional Director Juan Jovian Ingeniero informed Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson.
The PPOC also had a performance rating of 76.92 percent in 2019.
The ratings are above the national average of 73 percent in 2019 and 75.52 percent in 2021, Ingeniero said.
“We congratulate you for your exemplary performance as a council. The Department looks forward to the continued exercise of duties and responsibilities for the improvement of the PPOCs functionality,” he told the governor.*
