Travel between Negros Occidental and Iloilo will resume Tuesday, June 1.
The Western Visayas Regional Inter-Agency Task Force and the Regional Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases in a joint advisory said the temporary suspension of travel from Negros Occidental to Iloilo City and the Dumangas port in Iloilo province will be lifted 12:01 a.m. of June 1, unless otherwise extended by a appropriate authorities.
Travelers are advised to observe minimum public health standards and coordinate with their respective Local Government Units for travel requirements prior to their departure, the joint resolution said.
Travel between the two provinces was suspended starting May 23 amid the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Iloilo City.*
