A still unidentified man was found dead at an irrigation canal of a sugarcane plantation at Hda. San Ramon, Brgy. Manalad, Ilog, Negros Occidental, Wednesday, December 8.
The irrigation canal caretaker identified as Diotay Paborada discovered the body of the man while he was inspecting the area, the police said.
The victim was brought to Lorenzo D. Zayco District Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The cadaver of the victim is still at the hospital for identification and post-mortem examination.*
