Gina Martin, director general of the Philippine Sugar Research Institute and former administrator of the Sugar Regulatory Administration, will be one of the speakers at an international sugar convention in India that starts Friday, January 12.
Martin, a Negrense, will speak on “Achieving Sustainable Supply Chains in the Philippine Sugarcane Industry “at the 3rd International Conference and Exhibition on “Sustainability: Challenges and Opportunities in Global Sugar Industry” at the Manjari campus in Pune , India.
The conference from January 12 to 14 is organized by the Vasantdada Sugar Institute (VSI).
Eminent international and national speakers will be delivering lectures on significant and different important aspects of the sugar and allied industries, the organizers said.*
