A 45-year-old man was found dead after a shooting incident in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental, on Tuesday morning, April 29.
The victim, a resident of the area, was declared dead at the Cadiz District Hospital.
Police said the victim was discovered at around 10 a.m. inside a small hut in Brgy. Andres Bonifacio with multiple gunshot wounds on different parts of his body.
The incident was reported to Cadiz City Police Station at around 10:15 a.m. by the victim’s brother.
Initial investigation indicated that two unidentified male suspects were behind the shooting and immediately fled.
Authorities have launched hot pursuit operations and coordinated with nearby police stations for the identification and arrest of the suspects.*
