A 47-year-old man was found dead under a bridge in Brgy. Oringao, Kabankalan City, on Friday morning, Feb. 27.
Police identified the victim as Ronald Damaso, a resident of Purok Bakyas in Brgy. Oringao.
The body was discovered under the bridge in Purok Tuburan.
The Kabankalan police said they coordinated with the victim’s sibling, who last saw Damaso drinking alcohol before heading home.
The police said the victim was observed walking without clear direction before falling from the bridge.
A barangay health worker confirmed that the victim was already dead when found under the bridge.
The victim’s family told police they believe there was no foul play involved in the incident.
Authorities said the case is being treated as a non-criminal incident.*
