Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson confirmed Thursday, December 9, that he will announce the “extra blessings” to be given to the Negros Occidental provincial government employees on Monday, December 13.
Asked if the additional bonuses to be given to the Capitol employees would be higher than the P40,000 they received last year, the governor said “it would be sad if it were lower.”
Lacson said he would announce the additional bonuses for the provincial government employees during the program for the switch on of the Christmas lights at the Capitol building and park.
The governor said he is inviting all the government employees to join the switch on at about 6 p.m. on December 13 in the spirit of the holidays.
The governor’s birthday also falls on December 13.*
