A security guard was electrocuted in a compound at Punta Cabahug Street, Brgy. Zone-6, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental, on New Year’s Day.
Investigation revealed that the 48-year-old security guard, whose named was withheld by the police, died after he accidentally came in contact with an open electrical wire.
Meanwhile, two persons were found dead in Isabela and Murcia towns on Monday, Dec. 30, and Wednesday, Jan. 1.
A 47-year-old laborer was found dead beside a road in Hacienda Antolanga, Brgy. Tinongan, Isabela, on Monday, the police said.
No wound was found on the body of the victim who was previously hospitalized for an illness, the police said.
On New Year’s Day, a 42-year-old man was also found dead in Hacienda Libertad, Brgy. Damsite, Murcia.
Investigation revealed that the victim was found lying on the ground lifeless and bloody with a wound on the left side of his chest.*
