A grade 11 student was shot dead in his house at Granada Heights Subdivision in Brgy. Granada, Bacolod City, Sunday night, June 2.
Nicus Balagosa, 20, a grade 11 student, was allegedly shot by Carlito “Dondon” Tongho, father of the victim’s schoolmate, who had a companion, the police said
Bacolod Police Station 5 Commander, Capt. Portia Nillosan, said they are still determining the motive for the shooting.
The police said that the victim was seen by the suspect playing billiards.
Balagosa immediately went inside his house but the suspect followed him and shot him four times.
Nillosan said that the victim was shot on his chest and legs, after which the suspects fled.
The victim was brought to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
Nillosan urged the suspect and his companion to surrender to avoid the situation getting worse.
Tongho was identified through CCTV footage in the area, the police said.*
