A flash flood hit Sitio Guiwanon in Brgy. IV, Sipalay City, Thursday afternoon, April 7.
The flooding occurred at past 3 p.m. following three hours of heavy downpour, Dionilo Bogtae, head of the Sipalay Emergency Assistance and Rescue Services, said.
The flood waters reached waist level in some parts of the sitio but subsided soon after, he said.
There were no casualties or damage to property, Bogtae added.
He said they are continuing to monitor river water levels in Sipalay City.*
