The number of persons who sustained firecracker-related injuries in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental has breached the 100 mark, records as of Friday, January 5, showed.
Records showed that there were a total of 107 cases of firecracker-related injuries in the province from December 21 to January 5.
The Provincial Health Office reported that there were 98 injuries in Negros Occidental, while the City Health Office recorded nine in Bacolod City.
Bago City had the highest number of injuries with 15 followed by Kabankalan City with 13, and Hinigaran with 9.*
