The No. 1 most wanted person in Escalante City was arrested by the police in Brgy. Mabini on Friday, June 19.
Arrested was alias “Willy,” 39, of Sitio Sambulong 2, Brgy. Mabini.
Police said the suspect was apprehended by the tracker team of the Escalante City Police Station by virtue of warrants of arrest for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition.
The warrants were issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 59 in San Carlos City.
Authorities said no bail was recommended for the drug case, while bail for the firearms case was set at P200,000.
The suspect was informed of his constitutional rights and was taken into police custody pending proper disposition.*
