EOC releases vaccination schedules, pediatric rollout set in 10 new sites

The Emergency Operations Center-Task Force (EOC-TF) will continue its vaccination drive at Ayala Malls Capitol Central, CityMall Goldenfields, CityMall Mandalagan, Gaisano City, Robinson’s Place, SM City and Jollibee East on Friday, November 12.

Em Legaspi Ang, EOC-TF executive director and COVID-19 Vaccination Council coordinator, also said that during the weekend, Bacolod will have vaccination operations at SM City, Ayala Malls and Jollibee East, which operates 24 hours.

On Friday, another vaccination rollout for minors will be conducted in at least 10 sites: Barangays Mandalagan, Singcang-Airport, Vista Alegre, Handumanan Punta Taytay, Pahanocoy, Sum-ag, and Barangay 39 as well as in Andres Bonifacio Elementary School and Mabini Elementary School,
Dr. Edwin Miraflor, Jr., officer-in-charge of the City Health Office, said.

Meanwhile, the Bacolod City government rolled out the Sputnik V vaccine at the Ayala Malls Capitol Central vaccination site on Wednesday, November 10.

The national government delivered 10,000 doses of the Sputnik V from Russia’s Gamaleya Institute to Bacolod City, Mayor Evelio Leonardia said.

Only local government units that meet the storage and handling requirements for Sputnik V vaccines, which is negative 18 degrees Celsius, were given the vaccines, Ang explained.*
