
The Department of Social Welfare and Development Negros Island Region (DSWD NIR) has distributed a total of ₱1,124,184,216.00 in Emergency Cash Transfer (ECT) payouts as of Sunday, March 22, benefitting 191,912 individuals affected by Typhoon Tino.
Among the local government units served, Himamaylan City received the highest disbursement at ₱161,831,985.00 for 30,129 beneficiaries, followed by Hinigaran with ₱142,721,236.00 for 23,636 individuals.
Other significant payouts include the City of Bago with ₱127,318,814.00 for 22,294 beneficiaries, Binalbagan with ₱123,854,570.00 for 22,750 beneficiaries, and La Castellana with ₱106,050,553.00 for 18,521 individuals.
In Isabela, ₱96,933,578.00 was released to 14,602 beneficiaries, while the City of La Carlota saw ₱92,808,534.00 distributed among 15,198 individuals.
The relief efforts also extended to Moises Padilla with ₱79,054,808.00 for 11,584 beneficiaries, Bacolod City with ₱69,534,332.00 for 12,892 beneficiaries, and Pontevedra with ₱47,349,211.00 for 8,171 individuals.
Smaller distributions were also made in Pulupandan with ₱26,998,636.00 for 3,740 beneficiaries, San Enrique with ₱21,155,099.00 for 3,595 beneficiaries, Canlaon City with ₱18,415,125.00 for 2,957 beneficiaries, and Valladolid with ₱10,157,735.00 for 1,843 individuals.*
